The University community has access to two extensive and searchable compilations of federal materials.
- American State Papers contains legislative and executive documents, many originating from the important period between 1789 and the beginning of the U.S. Congressional Serial Set in 1817.
- The Serial Set contains reports, documents and journals of the U.S. Senate and House and covers the period 1817 to 1980. This material was originally published in roughly 13,800 bound volumes. Currently, the Serials Set runs to 1910 with the balance of the content being added.
