Handbook of compounding for Spenzer's Pharmacy
Prof. Canagaratna, Systems Librarian, and her staff have digitized a 19th century druggist’s compounding manual. This publication was started by Peter Ignatius Spenzer in May 6, 1889. Dr. Spenzer was a well known Cleveland druggist who died in 1896. The initial entries are in his hand writing, but it is obvious that there were subsequent contributors. In addition, numerous clippings were also included. The handbook is available online.
